Singapore finalises football squad of 18 for AYG

Singapore Asian Youth Games football team coach David Sivalingam has named its final squad of 18 for the upcoming Asian Youth Games in Singapore following a three-match training camp in Perth.

The football portion of the competition kicks off on 20 June 2009 and features Under-14 age group teams from 15 Asian countries. As host nation, Singapore automatically receives a bye into the final round of the competition and the team will play their first match on Saturday, 27 June 2009 at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
